REQUEST MINISTRY

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God..." (James 1:5)

What is the purpose of this ministry?

The purpose of Springs of Life Liberation Ministries is to help people know Jesus Christ more deeply, abide in Him more faithfully, and walk in the freedom He has graciously provided through His death and resurrection.

Our desire is not simply to help people overcome spiritual struggles but to encourage a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Freedom is found in Him.

What is the ministry of freedom?

The ministry of freedom is the compassionate work of God through which He helps His people walk more fully in the liberty Christ has already secured for them.

This ministry may include prayer, biblical encouragement, repentance, renewing the mind with God's Word, addressing spiritual oppression in the authority of Jesus Christ, and growing in daily discipleship.

The goal is never an experience.

The goal is always a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Do you believe in biblical deliverance?

Yes.

We believe Jesus Christ continues to set people free today, just as He ministered throughout the Gospels.

We also believe deliverance should always remain Christ-centered, grounded in Scripture, guided by the Holy Spirit, and exercised with humility, wisdom, and love.

Our focus is never on darkness.

Our focus is always on Jesus Christ, who has overcome the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection.

Do Christians need deliverance?

Many believers experience areas of bondage or spiritual struggle. We believe Jesus continues to bring freedom as we grow in-Christ.

Will every ministry session include deliverance?

Every person is unique, and every ministry session is different.

We do not follow a formula or predetermined process. We prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit's guidance and minister according to the individual's needs.

Some sessions focus primarily on prayer, discipleship, repentance, renewing the mind through Scripture, or pastoral encouragement. Other sessions may include addressing spiritual oppression in the authority of Jesus Christ.

In every situation, our desire is to faithfully follow the Lord and keep our eyes fixed on Him.

Should I be afraid of deliverance ministry?

No.

If your confidence is in Jesus Christ, there is no reason to fear.

We minister from Christ's victory, not toward it.

Everything we do is grounded in Scripture, covered in prayer, and centered upon the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Perfect love casts out fear, and our desire is that you leave with greater confidence in Christ than when you arrived.

What should I do before my ministry session?

Spend time with the Lord.

Pray.

Read His Word.

Invite the Holy Spirit to prepare your heart.

Come with humility, honesty, and expectancy, trusting Jesus Christ rather than seeking a particular experience.

Above all, come with a desire to know Him more deeply.

How long does a ministry session last?

Because every person is unique, the length of a session varies. Usually between two to three hours.

We seek to allow adequate time to pray, listen carefully, and follow the Holy Spirit's leading without rushing the process.

Can Jesus really help someone like me?

Yes.

No one is beyond the reach of God's grace. Jesus Christ came to seek and to save the lost, to bind up the brokenhearted, and to set captives free. Whatever your past, whatever your present struggle, His invitation remains the same: 'Come to Me.' If you come to Him in faith, you will find a Savior who is full of grace and truth, rich in mercy, and faithful to every promise He has made."

What if nothing dramatic happens?

God is always at work, even when His work is quiet.

We do not measure God's faithfulness by outward emotion or dramatic moments.

Many of the deepest works of God take place as His truth renews our minds, our faith grows stronger, and we learn to abide more deeply in Christ.

Our confidence rests in His faithfulness, not in our feelings.

Is one ministry session enough?

Sometimes. Sometimes not.

Spiritual growth is a lifelong journey.

While God may accomplish significant work during a single session, we believe lasting freedom is found as believers continue abiding in Christ, growing in His Word, walking with His Spirit, and remaining connected to His Church.

Will everything I share remain confidential?

We seek to treat every person with dignity, respect, and appropriate confidentiality.

Our desire is to provide a safe and caring environment where you can honestly seek the Lord. If you have questions about confidentiality, we will gladly discuss them with you before your session.

Do you charge?

No. We do not charge for prayer or deliverance. If you live outside of Los Angeles and you seek us to travel to you for ministry, we will ask for you to cover the basic travel expenses.  Our ministry was given to us, and we seek to give it away.

Is deliverance instant?

Sometimes yes, sometimes it is a process. We trust God with His perfect timing.

Can Christians have spiritual oppression?

Christians disagree on terminology. We focus on Scripture’s call to resist the devil, walk in truth, and live the life Jesus came for us to live, in freedom.

What happens after my ministry session?

Our hope is that your ministry session becomes one step in a lifelong walk with Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to remain rooted in God's Word, continue in prayer, stay actively connected to a Bible-believing local church, and keep growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Freedom is not the finish line.

Walking faithfully with Jesus Christ is.

I still have questions.

We understand.

Seeking ministry is an important step, and it is natural to have questions.

Please feel free to contact us. We would be honored to speak with you, pray with you, and help you determine whether this ministry may serve you.

Wherever you are on your journey, our prayer is that you will come to know Jesus Christ more deeply, trust Him more fully, and discover the freedom and abundant life that are found in Him alone.
