Preparing Your Heart

"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8)

At Springs of Life Liberation Ministries, we believe that every work of God begins with Him.

Before we ever meet together for ministry, our greatest desire is that you would begin drawing near to Jesus Christ. While no amount of preparation can earn God's favor or guarantee a particular outcome, a humble and willing heart is always a beautiful place for the Lord to work.

Our prayer is not simply that you would experience a ministry session, but that you would encounter the living Christ, whose love, truth, and grace bring lasting transformation.

Come with a Heart That Seeks Jesus

If your desire is simply to have a problem removed, you may leave encouraged for a time. But if your desire is to know Jesus Christ more deeply, to abide in Him, and to follow Him more faithfully, you are pursuing something far greater.

Freedom is not the destination. Jesus Christ is.

As we grow in our relationship with Him, we discover that His freedom is not merely an event—it becomes a way of life.

Spend Time in God's Word

Before your ministry session, we encourage you to spend time reading the Scriptures prayerfully and thoughtfully.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth of God's Word, strengthen your faith, and prepare your heart to receive whatever the Lord desires to accomplish.

God's truth exposes the lies that keep us in bondage and continually points us to Jesus Christ, who is the Truth.

Come Before the Lord in Prayer

Take time to speak honestly with God.

Thank Him for His faithfulness.

Confess any known sin.

Bring your fears, questions, disappointments, and hopes before Him.

Ask Him to search your heart and prepare you according to His perfect wisdom.

Remember that prayer is not merely preparation for ministry.

Prayer is fellowship with your heavenly Father.

Walk in Forgiveness

One of the most freeing acts of obedience is choosing to forgive those who have hurt us.

Forgiveness does not excuse wrongdoing or deny the pain we have experienced. Rather, it is an act of surrender to God, trusting Him with justice while releasing our hearts from bitterness.

If the Holy Spirit brings someone to your mind, prayerfully ask the Lord to help you forgive as He has forgiven you.

Come with Humility and Expectation

Every person who comes for ministry comes the same way. Needing Jesus.

No one arrives because they have everything together.

We come because Christ is gracious.

Come expecting Him to work—not according to our expectations, but according to His perfect love, wisdom, and timing.

Our confidence is never in a method or a minister.

Our confidence is in Jesus Christ.

Remember the Goal

The goal of ministry is not simply that something leaves.

The goal is that someone remains. Jesus said, "Abide in Me."

Our deepest prayer is that every obstacle to your fellowship with Christ would be removed so that you may know Him more deeply, love Him more fully, and faithfully walk in the freedom He has already purchased for you through His death and resurrection.

Our Prayer for You

Before we ever meet, we are praying that the Holy Spirit will prepare your heart, deepen your faith, and draw you into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.

Whether the Lord works quietly or powerfully, quickly or gradually, our confidence remains the same:

He is faithful.

He is present.

He is sufficient.

And He is worthy of your complete trust.

We invite you to begin preparing today by drawing near to Jesus Christ. Spend time in His Word. Speak with Him in prayer. Open your heart to His truth. As you abide in Him, may you discover that He is not only the One who sets you free, but the One who lovingly teaches you how to walk in that freedom every day.
